We provide a concise and confidential information and advice service in community languages to anyone over 50 years and unpaid carers. We work towards promoting income maximisation and can support you in the following areas through face-to-face appointments, over phone calls or home visits in exceptional circumstances.

 

• Benefit assessment to determine your entitlements

• Assistance in applying for benefits: Universal credit, retirement pension, pension credit, job seekers allowance and income support.

• Support in accessing social housing, adaptations, rent ; council tax benefits

• Travel concessions – blue badge, taxi and rail cards

• Disability benefits, appeals and tribunals
