Post 1: Care Assistant (5 hours per week)

Duration: 1 year contract

Location: Milan daycare, 411 Gilmerton Road, Edinburgh EH17 7JJ

(with requirements to work from other locations when necessary)

Salary: Living wage employer (currently £12.21 ph.)

Organisational Profile:

Milan is a registered charitable organisation providing services to older people and unpaid carers from South Asian communities in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We provide day-care provision, information/advice, carers support and outreach services.

Job Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual to work within our busy daycare provision to support our cook in our commercial kitchen as well as supporting older people within the daycare. A good understanding and knowledge of working with older people is necessary with the ability to speak a community language.
