Post 1: Daycare Cook (5 hours per week)

Duration: 1 year contract

Location: Milan daycare, 411 Gilmerton Road, Edinburgh EH17 7JJ

(with requirements to work from other locations when necessary)

Salary: Living wage employer (currently £12.21 ph.)

Organisational Profile:

Milan is a registered charitable organisation providing services to older people and unpaid carers from South Asian communities in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We provide day-care provision, information/advice, carers support and outreach services.

Job Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual to work within our busy daycare provision to cooking traditional vegetarian/non-vegetarian ethnic lunches. A good understanding and knowledge of working with older people is necessary with the ability to speak a community language.
